Mr. Mark King is a Founding Partner of Strait Lane Capital Partners. He is an active business entrepreneur and philanthropist. In 2006, Mr. King served as Chief Executive Officer of ACS, a global provider of business process and information technology outsourcing services and Fortune 500 company. Since 2007, Mr. King has acted as President of the MMK Foundation.

Mr. King joined ACS in 1988, and held various executive positions throughout his tenure. During his 18-year career at ACS, Mr. King was instrumental in building the firm from a start-up company to a global, $6 billion outsourcing services leader with more than 50,000 employees worldwide. He was a key contributor in the company’s initial public offering in 1994. He acted as Chief Financial Officer from 1995 to 2001, and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2001 and President in 2002. He was named Chief Executive Officer in 2005, and was CEO until 2006.

While at ACS, Mr. King successfully completed more than 75 acquisitions with an aggregate purchase price and total annual revenues in excess of $4 billion. During his tenure as an executive officer, ACS consistently maintained one of the best track records in the industry for financial performance, growth, service, and client satisfaction. Prior to joining ACS, Mr. King held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility at MTech Corp., Santa Fe Minerals, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mr. King is active in a variety of business, civic, and charitable organizations. He is an accomplished speaker and has addressed several groups on topics including performing successful mergers and acquisitions, applying managerial best practices, and producing business success.

Mr. King founded the MMK Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization in 2007. The MMK Foundation was formed to support important social issues including education, environmental, health and welfare advocacy primarily for women and children. Mr. King is also actively involved with a variety of charities and civic organizations that promote and support the arts, education, relief efforts, and healthcare for those in need.

A native Texan and graduate of Bryan Adams High School in Dallas, Mr. King is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, with a B.B.A. in Accounting. He is a certified public accountant.

Mr. King is married and has one child and he resides with his family in Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Warren Edwards is a Founding Partner of Strait Lane Capital Partners. He is a proven business executive with more than 25 years of operational and financial experience. Mr. Edwards currently serves as a Director of the MMK Foundation. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS), a global provider of business process and information technology outsourcing services and Fortune 500 company.

Mr. Edwards joined ACS in 1996, and held various executive positions during his tenure. During his 10-year career at ACS, Mr. Edwards was instrumental in advancing the company from a relative start-up to a global, $6 billion outsourcing services leader with more than 60,000 employees worldwide. He was the company’s Chief Financial Officer from 2001 to 2006. Prior to serving as CFO, he held various positions in the company’s financial operations.

During his tenure as CFO, Mr. Edwards was a key contributor in dozens of mergers and acquisitions performing due diligence, financial analysis, as well as management and operations integration planning. Mr. Edwards was responsible for all of ACS’ capital market transactions including secondary offerings, convertable debt offerings, and the Company’s initial public debt offering. In total, these transactions resulted in more than $4 billion in new funding to support the company’s mergers and acquisitions activity and other key corporate initiatives.

Prior to joining ACS, Mr Edwards held several operating roles with Foxmeyer Health Corporation (subsequently acquired by McKesson). These roles included responsibility over its purchasing organization with over $5 billion in annual purchases. Prior to that Mr. Edwards was the executive over its Trading Company which had annual revenues in excess of $150 million.

Mr. Edwards began his professional career with PricewaterhouseCoopers during which he served both public and private companies in the manufacturing, real estate, oil & gas, and technology markets.

Mr. Edwards serves as Director of the MMK Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization formed in 2007. The MMK Foundation was created to actively support important social issues including education, environmental, health and welfare advocacy for women, children, and veterans.

Mr. Edwards graduated with honors from Texas Tech University, with a B.B.A. in Accounting. He is a certified public accountant.

Matthew Peeples is the Chief Financial Officer for File & ServeXpress, a Strait Lane Capital Partners portfolio company. Mr. Peeples has more than 30 years of financial and investment management experience. Prior to joining Strait Lane Capital Partners, Mr. Peeples was employed with Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), a Xerox Company.

At ACS, Mr. Peeples worked both domestically and internationally with acquired companies’ management teams to integrate them into the corporation. He performed in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility. His positions included serving as the chief of Finance and Accounting for the technology services outsourcing division as well as director of the mergers and acquisitions financial due diligence teams.

His most recent position at ACS was Vice President, Finance and Accounting with the Transportation Services group. One of the largest providers of logistics services to governments worldwide with revenues of approximately $800 million per year. Mr. Peeples’ background has given him a broad base of business knowledge and experience at serving clients around the globe with logistics services and transportation outsourcing solutions including: toll, transit fare, parking and violations collection, transportation safety enforcement, port management, and other systems and services.

Mr. Peeples graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.B.A. in Accounting, and is a certified public accountant.

Mr. Matt Swift has served as a Director of Strait Lane Capital Partners since 2014 and has been the point person for financial due diligence on SLCP’s acquisition targets since he started with the Company back in 2011.

For SLCP, Mr. Swift leads financial due dilligence, financial modeling, and post-close accounting integration and bank reporting activities.

Prior to joining SLCP, Mr. Swift was a senior associate at KPMG in the M&A transaction services practice where he focused on both buy and sell side transaction advisory services. He worked primarily on financial due diligence and quality of earnings reporting.

A native Texan, Mr. Swift graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, with a B.B.A. in Accounting and a Masters in Professional Accounting. He is also a certified public accountant and resides in Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Edwards joined Strait Lane Capital Partners as a full time financial analyst in May 2015 after completing two summer internships. Mr. Edwards graduated from Baylor University, earning his B.A. with a double major in Finance and Entrepreneurship. While at Baylor, Preston was an active member of the service organization Kappa Omega Tau.

Since joining SLCP, Mr. Edwards has been integrally involved in several of the firm’s more recent transactions and is primarily responsible for financial analysis and reporting related to SLCP’s portfolio companies.

Mr. Edwards resides in Dallas and when away from the office he enjoys golf, hunting and watersports.

Mr. Henry Hortenstine has an extensive business and financial background and has founded successful companies and worked for corporations ranging in size from Fortune 500 to the middle-market. Mr. Hortenstine founded Zenta Corporation in 2005 and served as Zenta’s Chief Executive Officer. Zenta performed high level services for large financial institutions, investment banks and REITs—including commercial real estate valuations, CDO and CMBS structuring, commercial and residential real estate loan underwriting and processing, and finance and accounting for REITs. Zenta was acquired by Accenture in November, 2011 and became the foundation for Accenture Credit Services which provides integrated consulting, technology, and business process outsourcing (BPO) services to the financial services industry.

Mr. Hortenstine currently serves as Executive Director of SLCP’s portfolio company, Griswold, LLC. Griswold is a manufacturer of open-cell polymers which are used in a wide variety of industries. In his role, Henry will primarily be focused on working with the management team on a number of growth initiatives.

Prior to Zenta, Mr. Hortenstine was a director and group president of Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), a publicly traded Fortune 500 company which became a global leader providing information technology and business processing outsourcing services to clients worldwide. ACS was acquired by Xerox in 2010. At ACS, Mr. Hortenstine was responsible for its IT outsourcing and BPO businesses which grew under his leadership from $119 million to more than $2 billion in annual revenues. He also has a long history working in the financial services and technology services industries with positions of increasing responsibility at Lomas Financial Corporation, Crestar Bank, and IBM Corporation.

Mr. Hortenstine and his wife reside in Dallas, Texas where they are actively involved in the community and with several charitable organizations. They have four daughters and five grandchildren. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics.

Marc Baylin is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of MB Advisors, LLC., an investment management firm that caters to high net worth individuals. MB Advisors opened to investors in early 2014, and manages investment portfolios for retirement and non-retirement accounts. Marc has over 20 years of investment experience.

Marc got his start in the investment management industry at T. Rowe Price in 1993, where he spent approximately 10 years. Initially he served as an analyst with an emphasis on services stocks. In March of 1999 he was named co-Portfolio Manager of the T. Rowe Price New America Growth Fund, and in March of 2000, became the sole manager of the fund.

Marc left T. Rowe Price in 2002 and was named Managing Director and Lead Portfolio Manager of the Large Capitalization Growth products at JP Morgan Fleming Investment Management, where he managed approximately $3 billion of assets at JP Morgan.

In 2005, Mr. Baylin was hired to manage the flagship growth fund at Oppenheimer Funds, the Capital Appreciation Fund. Along with other institutional accounts, at the peak Marc managed over $18bn in assets at Oppenheimer.

Marc received a Bachelor’s of Administration degree, with honors, in finance from the University of Texas and a Master of Management in finance and marketing from the J L Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Registered Investment Advisor.

Lora Villarreal was formerly on the Board of Directors of SharePlus Bank and also the Director of their Compensation Committee; she also serves on the boards of ZeeZor and Advisory Council of Our Lady of Perpetual Help School. Dr. Villarreal currently serves as President of the Human Resources Group, LLC. where she assists organizations in aligning people strategies with company and client values.

Prior to her current duties with the Human Resources Group, Dr. Villarreal was with Xerox Business Services, LLC (formerly Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. “ACS”), where she served as the Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer. During her time with Xerox Business Services, she was a member of the board of directors for Buck Consultants, a wholly owned Xerox subsidiary. She also previously served as Vice President, Human Resources, for Transamerica Real Estate Information Companies and held various positions with First Data Resources including Vice President of Administration for a start-up operation in Mexico City, which included human resources, training, purchasing, facilities, and public relations.

Active in charitable and civic affairs, Villarreal participated in the Leadership Dallas Class, Executive Women’s Council, Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce, Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Hispanic 100 and the Society for Human Resources Management. She has also served as President of the ACS Philanthropic Foundation.

Highlights in her career include being named one of Fortune Magazine Top 300 Women in Business, and Hispanic Business magazine’s Top Five Hispanic Women of the Year in 2008. This honor came after a previous ranking as one of its Top 25 Elite Hispanic Women in Business. She was selected as one of 25 Hispanic women throughout the U.S. to attend the National Hispanic Leadership Institute, a program designed to prepare women for positions of national impact and to influence public policy. Dr. Villarreal was named one of the Most Outstanding Women to Watch in 2008 by Hispanic Business magazine, received the Dallas Business Journal Minority Business Leaders Award, the Ogletree Deakins Human Resources Professional of the Year Award in 2008, and received the CareerFOCUS Eagle Award in 2009 which is one of corporate America’s highest accolades in executive leadership achievement. Most recently, she was awarded the 2011 Woman of the Year Award by the Texas Diversity Council.

Dr. Villarreal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in human resource management from Bellevue University, a Master of Science degree in administration and management from Central Michigan University and a Ph.D. in philosophy and management from California Coast University.
